I MAY be addicted to caffeine

I just call this multi-tasking, but I took it to new levels yesterday when I took my mug of coffee INTO the shower & drank it.  Hmm... YES, it is bc I need my coffee, but it also made sense, logistically.  See, I typically brush my teeth in the shower and was getting ready for a date.  I didn't want to brush my teeth, then drink my coffee and have coffee-breath and have to brush my teeth again.  I also didn't want to brush my teeth afterward since it's just easier to brush while in the shower.  I was patting myself on the back for being such a creative problem solver when a FB friend pointed out I may be addicted to caffeine.  Yeah, I guess it's possible! 

Need opinion

What if you are dating someone you are on the edge about?  Like... they aren't your usual type or you aren't 100% attracted to them, but they treat you REALLY well & consistently go above and beyond for you all the time. Would you give them a chance to see if love grows or would you just nip it in the bud and tell them it's just not going to work out? 

It's interesting... where my family comes from, we believe in arranaged marriages (though not so much anymore).  They say arranged marriages work bc who loves you more and wants what is best for you than your parents?  Knowing that, why WOULDN'T you trust your parents to choose the best mate for you as possible?  In arranged marriages, it's the two of you against the world; you get to know each other, face life events and grow closer together. In love marriages, the love fades as the years pass and the day to day stress can drive us apart.  Thoughts?

My first blog

This is my first blog.  I am a working, single mother in IL.  Just a middle aged soccer mom :) Sometimes I have weird or funny thoughts I need to vent.  Sometimes I rant over things I hate!  Sometimes I love something and need to let the world know bc I feel more important than I am.  Sometimes I am frustrated from work, motherhood and love drama. Sometimes, I need opinions or just ask random questions. You may find my comments hilarious, you may find me out of line.  In either case, it's just a blog... you can take me or leave me!  I wonder why is everyone dressing like it's the 80s again... leggings, tunics, etc. Of all the eras to go back too!  BOO.  Anyone worried about the NATO Summit?  Everyone seems to be having a melt-down over it. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. PS - my thoughts jump everywhere and sometimes I will have 3-4 topics in one blog, as is the case with this one.
